RamQuest Gives Back to Children’s Health

December 16, 2014

Employees from RamQuest, a provider of title and settlement solutions for the land title industry, on Dec. 8 presented Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center Plano with a dozen wagons filled with toys.

The donation was a result of the RamQuest Gives Back program, a volunteer initiative at RamQuest designed to support charities and other non-profit organizations that serve RamQuest’s home of Plano, Texas and neighboring communities. As part of the initiative, RamQuest team members participated in a company-wide toy drive and a team-building event to assemble wagons that were then donated to Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center Plano.

“We can’t begin to thank the employees of RamQuest enough for the wonderful donation of toys and wagons,” said Jennifer Roady, senior certified child life specialist at Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center Plano. "These items will be used as Christmas presents for our patients and families. Our goal is to help normalize the hospital environment for our patients. These toys and wagons will help us do that and spread joy during the Christmas season.”

RamQuest team members recently participated in a scavenger hunt, racing to solve riddles, collect wagon parts and assemble the wagons before finally pulling them across a finish line. The wagons were then filled with toys, purchased and donated by RamQuest associates, and delivered to Children’s Health Children’s Medical Center Plano.

"We are very happy to be able to make this donation," stated Paul Bandiera, president of RamQuest. "Children’s offers invaluable services and support to the children and their families in this area. It was our honor to be able to come alongside them in this way and to also be able to give back to our community."
