Greater Illinois Title Expands into Hoosier State

Chicago-based Greater Illinois Title Co. announced it has opened a full-service title insurance and closing operation in Indiana.

Greater Indiana Title Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Greater Illinois Title Co., has opened its main office in Merriville and closing locations in Munster, Valparaiso and St. John. Greater Indiana Title will service customers throughout the state.

Cindy Colvin joined Greater Indiana Title as a senior commercial escrow officer. A former a commercial loan officer and commercial lender, she most recently worked as a commercial closing officer and account manager for a local title company. She has been in the industry for over 20 years.

Kristin Busch also joined Greater Indiana Title as executive account manager. With 15 years of industry experience, she will be responsible for business development and sales throughout the state. She will also focus her efforts on national business to be serviced by the company’s national title services group.

Greater Indiana Title Company will offer title insurance policies underwritten by Chicago Title Insurance Co. and Old Republic National Title Insurance Co.

Greater Illinois Title, founded in 1985, was named in the Top Ten in the country and awarded the Title Agency in Excellence Award in 2013 by the Fidelity National Title Group. The company has 16 offices in the Chicago area.
