Title Company Launches 'Pay It Forward' Campaign to Mark Anniversary

May 13, 2014

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Michigan-based Liberty Title offers “Pay It Forward” certificates to the buyer and the seller on every title insurance transaction closing through the second quarter of 2014. This certificate can be given to anyone who is buying, selling or refinancing a home to receive $40 off their future closing.

Michele Richardson, Liberty Title’s chief executive officer, wanted to thank clients for their part in keeping this family owned and operated title company thriving.

“I heard that April 24th was Pay It Forward Day and I thought the idea behind this day coincided perfectly with our anniversary and our organization’s beliefs,” Richardson said. “Our success as an organization depends on our clients and our community, and I thought there was no better way to honor their contributions than to give something back.”

Certificates will be good through their 50th anniversary, according to Richardson.

Pay it Forward Day was founded by Blake Beattie in Australia in 2007. According to Beattie, the day “is meant to be a powerful reminder of the positive energy associated when we give to others without expectation of receiving anything in return. From what we get we make a living – from what we give, we make a life.”

Liberty Title’s management team and associated professionals average over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial properties. Starting in the greater Ann Arbor real estate market in 1974, the company has expanded to 11 offices in Southeastern Michigan.
