Denver Clerk & Recorder Implements CountyFusion Records Management Software

April 15, 2014

PropertyInfo Corp., a Stewart company, has installed its CountyFusion records management software system at the Denver Office of the Clerk & Recorder. This software implementation will allow the public to conduct online searched for recorded documents. The system also allows for the filing of online marriage and civil union applications, which has helped reduce wait times by 300 percent.

“We have made an important step towards bringing this Office to the 21st century—saving the people of Denver time and money. There are now more than seven million documents online available for public searching,” said Debra Johnson, Denver clerk and recorder. “The CountyFusion system offers quick and easy access to recorded documents, and delivers instant customer service instead of a wait time of three to four days through mail. In addition, we have the convenience of accepting credit cards as a payment method.”

PropertyInfo’s records management solution for the Denver Clerk & Recorder’s office includes cashiering, imaging, indexing with CountyFusion’s OCR/ICR advanced indexing technology and redaction, full reporting capabilities and performance metrics. In addition, the system provides e-recording, a county search portal, the ability to apply for marriage and civil union applications online, property fraud alerts, disaster recovery and more. This is PropertyInfo’s second Colorado installation in addition to the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s office.
