Chicago Title Bolsters Sales Team

February 26, 2013

Chicago Title Insurance Co. announced that Jeffrey Howell was named to the company’s major accounts sales team as vice president/associate counsel. He previously served as the national director of sustainability for Chicago Title’s parent company, Fidelity National Financial. A graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Howell will concentrate on working with commercial real estate attorneys in Southern California.

“My goal is to go beyond facilitating relationships,” he said. “My experience is crucial to my clients’ success because it allows me to be proactive in overcoming obstacles that arise in complex transactions.”

According to the company, Howell has established himself as a trusted and knowledgeable resource for clients who appreciate his comprehensive understanding of legal, title, and underwriting issues affecting to real estate transactions. In addition, his unique background includes knowledge of energy efficient real estate financing and valuation issues, experience as an instructor at UC Irvine and working with joint ventures with multiple startups.

“Jeffrey brings diverse experience and great technical knowledge to our team,” said Joe Goodman, senior vice president and Southern California operations manager for Chicago Title’s major accounts division. “I believe his clients will value his perspective and expertise on title and real estate.”
