ALTA Annual Convention Draws More Than 700 Title Professionals

While business has spiked this year, a full economic recovery remains uncertain. Implementation of new closing disclosures that will cost businesses money in software updates and training, as well as lenders requiring more information from title and settlement agents are causing significant concerns for industry professionals. ALTA CEO Michelle Korsmo told attendees that there is light at the end of the tunnel and ALTA is working everyday to protect the industry.
