County Office Closes for Republican Convention

While recordings will be accepted in person at the branch offices, the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Hillsborough County will close its downtown office the entire week of the Republican National Convention, Aug. 27-31.

All documents received by regular or express mail will continue to be processed as usual. The Clerk's Office Official Records Department accepts electronic recordings. The current e-recording vendors are listed below:

There have been no reported changes to hours of operation for the Register of Deeds in Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, N.C., during the Democratic National Convention, which is being held Sept. 3-6 in Charlotte.
