Stewart Global Solutions offers Proprietary Software in Spanish

June 5, 2012

Stewart Global Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp., will now offer landfolio in Spanish. Landfolio is Stewart’s proprietary software that automates and incorporates the most essential elements of land information management: property registration, cadastral mapping and real property taxation through easy-to-use functionality, transaction transparency, accurate and auditable land records and streamlined business processes.

The Spanish version of landfolio will leverage the in-house expertise of the land administration team of the governments of Spanish speaking countries by providing them a land administration tool in their native language. They will no longer be required to speak English in order to work with software of this nature. It will also benefit the citizens because they will be able to receive their property information in their native language which will in turn, instill confidence in the accuracy and value of the property administration/property titling efforts.

“Stewart Global Solutions is excited to bring the Spanish version of landfolio to the market. Not only will this new language edition enhance our offerings to our clients and markets of Latin America and Caribbean, it also is a key first step in our efforts to release additional languages in the coming months” said Jill Urban-Karr, executive vice president, Stewart Global Solutions. Stewart’s land administration expertise and proven land records management tools provide a full suite of e-government solutions across the globe, ranging from advising emerging markets’ governments on technical legal requirements for title registration legislation and adjudication procedures to providing title guaranty and escrow services to streamlining the real estate transaction process in more mature markets.
