ALTA Files Brief in Massachusetts Foreclosure Case

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court is considering whether a foreclosing lender must possess both the promissory note and the mortgage in order to foreclose. Read on to find out how the court's decision could drastically alter existing foreclosure practice in the state.
