Online Real Estate Firm Shows Off Its Core Asset: Home Listings

Determined to focus on its core asset - home listings - online real estate firm HomeStore has redesigned its home page, prominently displaying the "Find a Home" feature.
Before the recent change Homestore was serving up a wide menu of real estate services and its home page reflected that smorgasbord from tips on design to rentals, commercial real estate and new homes.
All of those features are still readily available but the "Find a Home" feature now dominates the front door of Homestore. This change fits with Mike Long's more focused strategy, considering the fact that home listings are the most popular feature for real estate shoppers and that Homestore has the most complete national database of home listings.
