Simplifile Leads E-Recording Market With Record First Quarter 2010

April 13, 2010

Simplifile, a provider of electronic recording (e-recording) software, announced that in the first quarter of 2010, a record number of documents were e-recorded through the Simplifile e-recording system. In March 2010 alone, Simplifile reported that hundreds of thousands of documents were e-recorded which represented a 147 percent increase in document volume over March 2009.

Simplifile also expanded its e-recording network during the same time period and added 30 new counties to the number of live e-recording jurisdictions available through the Simplifile e-recording system. With these additions, Simplifile boasts a total of 431 recording jurisdictions, which accept e-recordings as of March 31. Additionally, Simplifile has scheduled dozens of recording jurisdictions to begin e-recording in Q2 2010.

"We are pleased to see the growth of e-recording during the first quarter of 2010," said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. "E-Recording is rapidly becoming the standard for recording public record documents and we are pleased to have Simplifile lead the way. With thousands of Simplifile customers e-recording hundreds of thousands of documents each month, and growing, Simplifile continues to dramatically widen the gap between itself and its nearest competitor."
