Action Title Research Expands New Jersey Search Operations

March 2, 2017

Since establishing its roots in Bergen County, N.J., Action Title Research has expanded its coverage to all 21 counties in the state. Action Title Research offers tax and municipal searches and delivers title reports in multiple formats, including integration with popular title software platforms.

Adding to its growth and leadership position, the company has hired Fritz Lesher as vice president of sales operations. In 2005, Fritz launched the AccuTitle software platform and was instrumental in the adoption, development and expansion of web-based title solutions throughout New Jersey.

During his tenure at AccuTitle, Fritz helped more than 100 agencies streamline their title and settlement operations with new tools and processes for the digital era. He built relationships that spawned some of the first integrations between independent agents, searchers and underwriter systems, and he expanded sales operations to Pennsylvania, New York and Florida.

Prior to working in the title industry, Fritz launched other specialized software solutions including MIMI, a supply chain planning and scheduling platform acquired by Aspen Technology, and Eprise Participant Server, an enterprise web content management platform acquired by Divine, Inc. His breath and depth of sales experience and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences makes him a great addition to the Action Title Research team.

“We’re extremely pleased to have Fritz on board. We delivered title solutions for mutual customers in the past, and now we’re driving the next wave of efficiency and automation together,” said Chris Blum, managing partner of Action Title Research. “Action acquired Accurate Abstracts from Dolores Dios in 2015. That really expanded our coverage and provided us with a great tax and municipal search product. Together, Fritz and Dolores will help Action expand our title production and delivery services to more title agencies doing title work in the state.”
