Survey: Communicating with Title Companies, Closers Among Top TRID Challenges

According to a survey from Fannie Mae, two of the biggest challenges lenders reported when implementing the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule were communicating with other parties involved in the transaction—including title companies and closing agents—and managing third-party technology vendors. Read on to learn why the results reinforce the need for ALTA members to communicate with lenders and educate consumers about the benefits of title insurance earlier in the process.
