Benchmark Court Management System Receives Approval in Florida for Online Case File Collaboration

March 25, 2014

As courts rapidly convert from paper files to digital systems, online access to court information extends beyond the general public. Online access and case management now includes all stakeholders in the process such as prosecutors, public defenders, probation officers, and even the Judges themselves.

On March 6, Pioneer Technology Group’s Benchmark case management system received Court Application Processing System (CAPS) approval from the Florida Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA). With this approval, Benchmark becomes the only CAPS approved court case management system in the state of Florida, according to Pioneer Technology Group.

The approval means that OSCA has confirmed that the Benchmark system has satisfied all necessary system requirements, and can be used immediately as an authorized web component for case file access. The system provides online collaboration between the clerk of court, judges, public defenders, department of corrections, attorneys and other case stakeholders and qualified parties.

Pioneer also has recently converted or signed agreements to install the company’s Benchmark case management system in courts in Ohio, Kansas, Alabama and Georgia.
