Landtech Introduces eSign
January 17, 2012
Landtech Data Corp., a provider of real estate settlement software, has made available for free its initial introduction of Landtech eSign, which is now available in the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
This initial introduction of Landtech eSign will be followed with a full connection to the Landtech XML Document Management System so title professionals can prepare, execute and distribute documents digitally. The documents then can be signed on the iPhone or iPad just like using ink and paper, according to the company.
Landtech eSign allows signatures and text to be placed anywhere within PDF documents. A photo can be taken of existing documents and saved as a PDF to be electronically signed. Users have the option to send the document to Landtech eSign for execution.
With the built-in emailer, signed documents can be emailed directly from an iPad or iPhone.
The company said it expects to have Landtech eSign on the new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system for Android in the first quarter of 2012.
