Stewart Names New Agency Services Manager for Connecticut, Rhode Island

November 16, 2010

Stewart Title Guaranty Company announced the addition of Jim Czapiga as vice president, Connecticut and Rhode Island agency services manager. Czapiga brings to Stewart extensive multi-state agency sales and management experience, having served 15 years in the title insurance industry and agency services arena.

“Czapiga will be integral for Stewart as we expand our Connecticut and Rhode Island operations,” said George Houghton, executive vice president, Agency Services Group for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. “Czapiga’s tenure as agency services manager and vast expertise in both Connecticut and Rhode Island will position Stewart as a major player in the Northeast.”

Czapiga joins Stewart from another major underwriter, where he served over the course of his career as Connecticut commercial agency sales manager, Connecticut state manager, and ultimately Connecticut and Rhode Island region manager. Czapiga received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and a B.S. in finance from the University of Connecticut.
