Regional Underwriter adds to Board of Directors

Agents National Title Insurance Company announced the addition of two new members to its board of directors. Joining the board are Peter Klein and Robert Buchheit. Klein is an associate professor at the University of Missouri’s Division of Applied Sciences and associate director of the Contracting and Organizations Research Institute. He is an internationally known expert in the economic analysis of business organization, strategy and entrepreneurship. His research and consulting expertise will prove invaluable to the board, according to David Townsend, chief executive officer of Agents National Title. Klein holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a doctorate in economics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Buchheit is the owner of All Star Automotive Inc. in Columbia, Mo., a business he started in April of 1993. Townsend said the underwriter will benefit from Buchheit’s experience as a small business owner/operator. He graduated from Linn Technical College in 1979 with an associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology. Buchheit currently serves on the Automotive Advisory Board at Linn Technical College.
