LandAmerica Names Dennis J. Vendetti SVP

Commercial Services for the Southeast Region

RICHMOND, Va., -- LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., a provider of real estate transaction services, announces that Dennis J. Vendetti has been promoted to Senior Vice President -- Commercial Services for the Southeast Region. Vendetti oversees the operations of LandAmerica Commercial Services in Alabama, Arkansas, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. He is based in Washington, D.C. Vendetti has nearly 30 years of industry experience and joined LandAmerica in 1989. He most recently served the company as Senior Vice President -- Commercial Services Manager for the Washington, D.C. area.

"We are excited that someone with Dennis' track record of success is leading our Commercial Services team in the Southeast," said Pam Saylors, National Senior Vice President -- Commercial Services. "His dedication to superior service will play a key role in serving the growing number of commercial customers in this region who are seeking a single point of contact for all their real estate transactions."

Vendetti holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science and history from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and currently serves as President of the District of Columbia Land Title Association.
