In response to the growing concern over identity theft crimes, the Strategic Research Institute will host, "Identity Theft in Financial Services: Cause, Effect and Remedies," June 30 through July 1 at the Metropolitan Hotel in New York City.

The conference will include discussions of best practices, case studies and technological innovations relating to the fight against identity theft losses of financial services. It will also expand the dialogue between financial institutions and government agencies, and provoke discussion on the effectiveness and costs of present and potential policies and legislation.
