Abstracters and Agent Members

1. Determine your gross revenue

Fees earned during the preceding calendar year for abstracting, searching and examination of titles (including all services related thereto), premiums written for insurance and fees earned in escrow, settlement and closing services during said period, plus that portion of the premiums for insurance which is retained by the agent or remitted to it by the insurer.

Should any of the fees be earned from an entity which is not a member of the Association but which is part of an affiliated group of companies of which the member is one, or if there is substantial common ownership of such entity and the member, such fees received by the non-member shall be included in establishing gross revenue of the member.

2. Use the chart below to determine your dues payment based on your gross revenue per above.

Maximum dues amount for Abstracter and Agent members is $11,500. Note: members who pay $1,500 or more in dues will receive an invitation to the Title Agents Executive Conference ("Large Agents Forum.")

3. Indicate your company dues on reverse and return it with payment to ALTA or join online at www.alta.org/membership.

Title Insurance Underwriter Members:

1. Determine your gross revenue.

Fees earned during the preceding calendar year for abstracting, searching and examination of titles (including all services related thereto), premiums written for insurance and fees earned in escrow, settlement and closing services during said period, less that portion of the said fees and premiums retained by or paid to or owing to its agents, underwritten companies and approved attorneys.

For companies reporting on NAIC Form 9: calculate the total amount included, being the total amount included in the Operations and Invest- ment Exhibit – Statement of Income of said form on Page 4, Line 3, less the amount, if any, included on Line 2 of Part 4 of said dues base that have been retained by, paid to or due agents, underwritten companies and approved attorneys.

For companies who do not report on NAIC Form 9: comparable items of income and deduction are to be used.

2. Use the chart below to determine your dues payment based on your gross revenue per above.

Associate Members: (attorney, title industry vendor, consultant, and others not qualified for active membership)

Associate Member dues are $460.
