Attendee FAQs


  1. How do I obtain a log in and password to register for the meeting?
    E-mail service@alta.org to obtain your log-in information. Be sure to include full contact information in your e-mail.

  2. What is the cancellation policy?
    Please check the registration form for each meeting for cancellation and refund deadlines. For the Annual Convention, cancellations received prior to 20 days before the meeting will generally receive a refund minus a $100 processing fee. Cancellations received after that date will not be eligible for a refund. Substitutions are permitted at any time. All cancellations or substitutions must be received in writing and may be directed to meetings@alta.org.


  3. How/When are refunds processed?
    Please check the registration form for each meeting for refund deadlines. To request a refund, send an e-mail to meetings@alta.org. All refunds are made in the payment method that was originally used. They are usually processed after the meeting has taken place. All refund requests must be in writing.


  4. What does my primary registration include?
    Included in your registration are all education sessions, entrance into the exhibit hall, all coffee breaks, one banquet ticket (only), and one ice-breaker ticket.


  5. What does my spouse/guest registration include?
    Included in your spouse/guest registration is a name badge, entrance into the exhibit hall, all coffee breaks, one banquet ticket (only), and one ice-breaker ticket.


  6. Who can register as a spouse/guest?
    Only people outside the industry can register in this category. There will be no exceptions to this rule.


  7. I don't know if my company is a member or non-member. How do I find this out?
    Please contact our Membership Department at membership@alta.org. Membership status will be verified upon registration.


  8. What if the tour I signed up for is sold out?
    You will be contacted and presented with the option to either have the money refunded or use it towards another tour/event.
