Experience a Naval Combat Mission Flight Simulator During the Closing Reception

Feel the history and importance of the USS Midway as you visit with business partners and develop new relationships during the 2010 ALTA Annual Convention Closing Reception & Banquet.

During the reception, you'll be able to tour the longest-serving aircraft carrier in U.S. Navy history "from boiler to bridge." Our dinner aboard the Midway promises to instill a great appreciation for courage, freedom and service to country. Register today to experience this historic ship.

The USS Midway was commissioned on Sept. 10, 1945 and served her country for 47 years. More than 200,000 American veterans served aboard the Midway, including during the Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars, and a number of other conflicts and crises.

While aboard this amazing vessel, you will have the chance to experience a naval combat mission flight simulator.

"Blast off the flight deck in an F18 Hornet weaving through canyons to avoid enemy radar, racing toward the objective, engaging in air-to-air combat, evading an enemy missile, and then return to the aircraft carrier at sea landing at 150 mph. The flight simulation features authentic pilot conversations recorded during Operation Desert Storm."

Attire for the reception and dinner is business casual as
it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
No high heels allowed.
