HOUSTON (AP) -- Stewart Information Services Corp., which provides title insurance and related information services, on Thursday said Pat Vaden was promoted to co-CEO of its Stewart Transaction Solutions subsidiary.

Vaden, a 30-year title industry and technology veteran, last year became president and chief executive of Stewart's PropertyInfo Corp. subsidiary, and will remain in that position.

He will work closely with Stewart Morris Jr., president and co-CEO of Stewart Information Services Corp., and Murshid S. Khan, the company's new chief information officer.
