BOCA RATON, Fla., -- Foreclosure.com introduced the Housing Outreach Partner Effort (H.O.P.E.), which provides nonprofit and government organizations throughout the United States with free access to its nationwide database of more than 1.2 million distressed real estate listings.
The goal of the first-of-its-kind program is to provide these organizations with an important resource that they can use to help families across the nation find affordable housing alternatives such as foreclosures.
"Providing this valuable data to nonprofit housing organizations, as well as local governments, at no cost gives them another important resource to leverage," said Brad Geisen, president and CEO, Foreclosure.com. "H.O.P.E. fosters hope among families throughout the United States. And we encourage these organizations to take advantage of this program for their benefit."
Whether it's a county-level housing authority or a neighborhood association, H.O.P.E. is an excellent resource that nonprofits reference to help families in need find affordable housing, as well as a tool that municipal, county and state-level government organizations leverage and analyze to plot foreclosures in their areas.
"As one of the most reliable and trusted sources of foreclosure information, one of the most important things we can do is lend a hand to help find homes for families," said Geisen. "H.O.P.E. helps them capitalize on great real estate opportunities - and there are many available on our Web site."
