New Features in eTitleAxis Help Title Companies Adapt in a Changing Market |
August 24, 2006 |
Hall Settlement Systems has deployed a new product release of eTitleAxis that helps title companies adapt to changing business needs with accelerated processing capabilities. eTitleAxis automates the processes of order entry, transaction management and status reporting, title production, escrow closing and settlement, recordation tracking and title policy issuance.
Enhancements in this release include:
- Quick Payee – Processors now have the ability to quickly add a payee while working
in the HUD. Previously, processors who needed to add a payee were required to exit
the HUD and add the payee to the contacts. This eature significantly reduces the
amount of time needed to make payee changes on the HUD.
- Automatically Republish Commitment – Ideal for title companies with brokers as
clients, this feature enables processors to automatically republish the title commitment
when a lender or loan amount is added or changed. The previous method required the
processor to manually change and re-publishing the commitment.
- Table Funding – eTitleAxis now facilitates this common practice, which requires
title companies to prepare and print checks to present at closing prior to the actual funding
of the loan. Previously, with accounting security features enabled, title companies
were required to confirm that sufficient deposits had been made before they could process
checks. Now, a designated user may create disbursements prior to actual deposits
being made, based on anticipated funds.
-
– Transactions that include multiple properties can now easily
be handled with eTitleAxis. Processors needing to add a property to a transaction
simply select the “Add Property” link from the Property page, and the page
will expand to allow that property information to be entered.
“Particularly in a changing market, title companies need to quickly adapt to unique client needs and to provide a higher level of service and speed than their competitors,” said Jon Allen, vice president, business development, Hall Settlement Systems. “These new enhancements are part of our commitment to help our clients adapt with faster processing using a single system that can handle all their needs.”
eTitleAxis is known primarily for its ability to adapt to the individual needs of each client. The system is 100% Web-based, so adding users and even branches can be done in a matter of minutes, and title company employees can work anytime, from anywhere with secure Internet access.
