Radian Guaranty Inc. now provides eUnderwriting, a Web-based solution for the company's contract underwriting clients and their sponsored customers, via MI Online.

The application provides access to agency automated underwriting engines and features the capability to submit loans electronically to Radian for contract underwriting and features an upload capability compatiable with various loan-origination systems including Byte Enterprises, Calyx Software, Contour Software, Genesis 2000 and any loan origination system that supports Desktop Underwriter 2.0 or 3.0 file format, according to the company.

"This new system simplifies the mortgage origination process and presents a real-time point-of-sale credit evaluation for most mortgage transactions," said Doug Rossbach, Radian's SVP, eCommerce. "Any originator sponsored by a Radian contract-underwriting client is eligible to use eUnderwriting, which makes the mortgage process flow faster and easier than ever before," said Rossbach.

GHR Systems Inc. of Wayne, Pennsylvania helped to develop and currently hosts Radian's eUnderwriting system.

Radian Guaranty Inc. is the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group Inc. (NYSE: RDN), a global credit enhancement company headquartered in Philadelphia. Radian Guaranty provides risk management products and services to mortgage lenders nationwide.
