Bankruptcy Bill Passes Judiciary Committee |

The House Judiciary Committee voted 18-11 to report H.R. 975, the "Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2003, [pdf] "sponsored by Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., with 51 co-sponsors.
A Senate version of the bill has not yet been introduced.
