Dear Secretary Martinez:

I am writing to express my concern about the title requirements for housing programs under the jurisdiction of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. I understand that some policymakers have called into question the viability of title requirements for property insured or purchased by the Department. I respectfully request that I be notified if you consider changing those requirements. I also suggest that any regulatory changes be made only after notice and comment rulemaking in compliance with the Administrative Procedures Act.
